Jude Okoye the older brother of popular Nigerian musician Peter and Paul Okoye has been released from police custody after being arrested for an alleged N138 billion fraud. The music executive was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case involving the North-East Development Commission (NEDC). However after spending a few days in custody he was released on bail. Okoye has denied any involvement in the alleged fraud and maintains his innocence.
