Montgomeryshire MP Craig Williams has won a national fitness challenge completing a 5km run in under 30 minutes. The challenge organized by the British Heart Foundation aims to encourage people to stay active during the pandemic. Williams who is also a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Fitness completed the run in 29 minutes and 20 seconds beating his previous time by over a minute. He hopes his participation will inspire others to prioritize their physical and mental health during these challenging times. The MP also raised over £1000 for the British Heart Foundation showing his commitment to both fitness and charitable causes.
